At Enlightened Solutions, we understand that everyone in our program comes from different backgrounds and levels of life experience. We also know that addiction can block off many parts of our being – emotionally, spiritually, and physically. As we create our customized addiction recovery plans for our clients, we plan ahead and integrate a few essential aftercare services to allow for a smooth transition into a life built on sobriety.

We stress the necessity of learning life skills, and refocusing our minds on living balanced lives. To accomplish stability in our lives, there are a few things we need to address to get back on track.

Setting the Intention

We start by setting your intention for addiction recovery early on, and continually incorporate that message into all therapies. Our mindfulness and meditation therapy will help you find inner peace and break down your walls of resistance to treatment in the struggle between your addictive mind and your sober mind. Once you’ve made the commitment to a successful recovery, we will help you create an equally successful treatment plan. You will need to be accountable within this program, so we ask you to continually think about the intention you’ve set for your future. This intention for recovery will evolve and develop along with you; it is a promise you make to yourself to stay on track.

Our counselors and addiction staff will help you realize these goals as you advance in treatment. In recovery at Enlightened Solutions, we offer our clients a special place to work through addiction, mental health co-occurring disorders, and emotional healing. This vast treatment space, filled with nature and calm, removes addicts from their damaging environment and envelops them in emotional comfort. Realizing Responsibilities

As you build on your ability to communicate and understand your emotions, clients often realize how things in their lives got out of their control. As the addictive mind focuses on satiating its need for substances, family engagements, paying the bills on time and work commitments are sacrificed. In recovery, it’s important that we refocus on the responsibilities we left behind so that we can find balance in our lives. In treatment, we control the environment, giving you the space you need to heal, but when you transition back into your home life, these responsibilities wait for you. Getting a handle on these things will allow you to feel more in control of your life. We focus on the inner balance of Yin and Yang, but understand the external factors that have an impact on our emotional health as well. We teach our clients about the gift and payoff of total wellness – maintaining sobriety. Everything from finances to finding a stable job and keeping ourselves busy with the things that feed our joyful souls will help us resist relapse.

Maintaining Healthy Relationships

In treatment with Enlightened Solutions, we offer family constellation therapy and groups on establishing healthy boundaries. Family members often change roles, and responsibilities shift when their loved one suffers from an addiction. Our relationships influence the way we feel, so it’s our job to let family members know what they can do to be a part of our success as a family unit. In addition, we work through emotions and how things make us feel. Establishing your comfort zone with people and their roles in relation to your own role in the family or in your romantic relationships, is the key to understanding one another. This is where you can build your support group, accessing your familial bonds. Each family member will make their needs known, so everyone can achieve happiness and balance in the home.

Healthy Living (Diet and Exercise)

Once you know what it feels like to be physically detoxed from addictive substances, you’re more in tune with your health. Conscious living is possible through a healthy diet, exercise, and mental wellness. Consuming healthy foods, those that open particular points of your chakras, will enhance your ability to carry out your intention for recovery. Exercise will release those feel good hormones and natural chemicals throughout the body so you can be sure that recovery is where you find bliss and lifelong happiness.
