Jennifer Hansen’s Story
Jennifer Hansen went from living on the street with a $300-a-day heroin habit to becoming a role model and advocate for those struggling with substance abuse issues. Through her non-profit organization, The Hansen Foundation, she has founded halfway houses and sober living facilities for men and women alike. Jennifer is also a certified yoga instructor, and follows a holistic way of life through organic eating, chiropractic care, acupuncture, and herbal remedies. Her personal experiences taught her that recovery does not end after short-term rehabilitation, and that more resources are necessary to ensure long-term stability and growth. The Hansen Foundation was the beginning, and through Enlightened Solutions, Jennifer seeks to continue filling this void and reaching out to addicts in need. Her experience and deep knowledge of holistic living guides us in providing therapies that teach our clients to care for the earth they live on so that it can provide healing properties for them during recovery and throughout their healthy, conscious lives.
